Khaplu Serena Palace offers its guests the privilege of experiencing a unique complex of historical buildings dating back to 1840s. Guest rooms are meant to provide the guests with a quiet, contemplative retreat environment where they can feel close to nature, and to history. Khaplu Serena Palace & Residence offers 21 rooms including 8 suites with views of Mashabrum peak and surrounding gardens. Each room is with attached modern bathroom amenities, and cable facility offered in the Garden House only.

6 historical guest rooms, (4 Suites and 2 deluxe rooms) are located in the original Old Palace (Yabgo Khar). Each room in the Old Palace offers guests an exclusive and authentic cultural experience. The Garden House is a new construction using traditional materials and building techniques in keeping with the historical architecture of Khaplu Palace.

The Garden House contains 15 conventional guest rooms equipped with modern amenities. These rooms offer intimate terraces and views of the surrounding Thoqsikhar (Old Yabgo Fort, Khaplu Pastures, and traditional settlements of Khaplu). Each room has been decorated tastefully, with handmade textiles and antique objects. These rooms offer good value and spacious comfortable accommodation.

Standard rooms : Spacious historic rooms featuring either double or twin beds. Standard rooms are decorated with antiques and cultural artifacts with views of the external surroundings. All rooms are attached with a luxury bathroom. Both, smoking and non-smoking rooms are available.

Deluxe rooms : Spacious Deluxe rooms featuring king size bed, sitting area, in-room satellite television, attached luxury bathroom, and a balcony. Both, smoking and non-smoking rooms are available.

Suites : Including an anteroom, the suites features a king size bed, an adjoining large reception room, a “Shah-e-Nasheen”, an airy balcony decorated with wooden lattice work, and a working desk. Each suite is decorated with antiques and local artifacts and the balcony offers splendid views of the surrounding Khaplu town, cherry orchards and fruit garden. Sarfa Khar Restaurant : The multi cuisine dining space at KPR, Serfa Khar Restaurant serves to the guests a wide collection of local Balti, Pakistani, and continental delicacies. The Residence also offers outdoor snacks and special BBQ in the historical Garden. It also serves an elaborate a la carte menu.

Duksa Lounge : The Duksa Lounge is a private dining area with farshi (floor) seating. Located on the ground floor of Old Darbar Khar, this lounge offers a wide selection of local cuisines.

Khatamband loggia : Located on the 1st Level with adjoining Darbar Loggia in the Old Palace (Yabgo Khar), the Khatamband loggia serves local cuisines for breakfast and snack time. The Loggia has a capacity of six persons at a time and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Chaman Tsar Garden BBQ : At the Chaman Tsar garden, you can enjoy a wide variety of BBQ specialties. The beautiful Chaman Tsar garden also offers scenic views of the beautiful Mashabrum Peaks.

Ra’atsar Lounge : The Ra’atsar Lounge serves local traditional cuisines on guest demand. The Lounge is decorated with local Baltit motifs and designs and is a relaxed dining venue.

During the season, we organize buffets on the roof top and our guests are thrilled with the panoramic views of surroundings mountains.
